THE ECHO
by The Actions
(M. Argenio, M. Stellato)

How far can you go to be the first one?
Short-sighted is your mind
How far can you look to see your future?
It's less than what you believe

The echo
I can hear it all day
You let go
The last thing you belong to

Even if I lose my brain
I will never be at your side
If I lose my brain
You will always be
Something alien on my way

Ol' teddy boy
You white bankers' toy
You're less then what you believe
You let them be the rulers
You well-trained dumb gorilla shape

The echo
(it's telling something)
I can hear it all day
You let go
(can’t you see what you've done to your homeland?)

What you've lost is something beautiful
It's the last thing left to belong

Even if I lose my brain
I will never be at your side
If I lose my brain
You will always be
Something alien on my way

Rat race rat race
Thousand million people in a maze running around
Never find a better place
And you run
And you run
Never get away
Race race race
Overcrowded little space
Full of illusions

Even if I lose my brain
I will never be at your side
If I lose my brain
You will always be
Something alien on my way
